Marc-André Legault

Marc-André obtained his Ph.D. in bioinformatics from Université de Montréal. His thesis focused on leveraging human genetics for drug target validation. After completing his studies, he joined Mila, the Quebec AI Institute, and McGill University to pursue postdoctoral training. He worked on different projects developing machine learning and AI methods in genetic epidemiology, including the development of Quantile IV, a Mendelian randomization estimator now published in AJHG.
Now, Marc-André leads the computational pharmacogenomics lab at the Azrieli Research Centre of the CHU Sainte-Justine. He is an assistant professor at the Université de Montréal Faculté de Pharmacie.
