Research laboratory on precision pharmacotherapy

Our laboratory is located at the Azrieli Research Centre of CHU Sainte-Justine and we are affiliated with the Faculty of Pharmacy at the Université de Montréal.

We work on developing precision pharmacotherapy, where treatment is tailored to individual patient characteristics. This involves developing novel bioinformatics, statistical, and artificial intelligence (AI) methods to better understand the molecular basis of disease and to support medical decision-making. Our research activities, led by Marc-André Legault, Ph.D., lie at the intersection of genetic epidemiology, bioinformatics, and pharmacogenomics. Marc-André is also an associate academic member of Mila, the Quebec AI institute, supporting our methodological development work in AI.

We are currently recruiting interns and graduate students with strong skills in computer science, AI, and/or statistics who are motivated to work on precision medicine. Please contact Marc-André by email with your CV and a recent transcript.
