Julien St-Pierre

Julien works on developing robust statistical models in Mendelian randomization and is particularly interested in applying these models to assess the validity of therapeutic targets. He is also involved in developing deep learning models for integrating high-dimensional multi-omics data in genome-wide association studies.
Before joining the lab, Julien completed a PhD in Biostatistics at McGill University and a Master’s degree in Statistics at Université du Québec à Montréal. He also worked as a biostatistician at the CHUM Research Center and for various consulting companies in clinical and pharmaceutical research.
In his free time, Julien enjoys cycling, climbing, and playing hockey.
